A large EPC client here in Houston is in need of a Senior I&E Designer to begin working with them in April.Basic Function
Responsible for planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adoption and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Assists in the development of new approaches to problems encountered.
Works as a lead designer for small to large projects
Principal Accountabilities
Plans, schedules, conducts and co-ordinates detailed phases of I&E Designer work as lead in large scale projects, or as a lead in a moderate or small project. Directs personnel in order to achieve project technical requirements in accordance with the project policy.
Performs work, which involves conventional engineering designer practices, but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, suitability of standard materials, and difficult co-ordination requirements.
Ensures effective coordination within the designer group, the project team and other groups.
Technical and Academic Requirements
10 to 15 years or more of progressive applicable experience.
