Software Engineer required for large 4G technology client in BerkshireProteus Europe, acting as an I.T recruitment consultancy, are currently seeking a .NET developer for a permanent position working with a client based in Slough who have a strong reputation for delivering exceptional 4G technology solutions.
Our client is seeking an experience .NET developer to join their dynamic and fast growing team of software engineers. If you are a C#/ASP.NET Developer and are looking to become a part of a team offering you the chance to work with the most modern of technologies then this is the role for you.
Responsibilites for thie position will include the role includes design, development, test and maintenance of a large enterprise intranet application used by many companies worldwide to manage their 4G broadband wireless networks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a friendly and highly skilled team, giving you the opportunity to work on all sorts of technologies from SQL Server databases, multi-threaded Windows Services, data layer, business layer, web services and ASP.NET Web forms and MVC.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:
- Visual Studio 2013 with .NET 4/4.5 in an agile development environment.
- Great C# and ASP.NET
- Enterprise software development.
- Object oriented principles.
- Strong T-SQL with SQL Server .
- ASP.NET Web forms, MVC, HTML4/5, CSS, javascript.
- Experience of AJAX, jQuery, unit testing, Windows Services, web services, multi-threading
Personality
You must be a team player and should display good attention to detail, be able to work to a deadline and have strong problem-solving skills. You should be able to understand existing code and pick up new concepts quickly.
