Description
International oilfield service company is looking for a SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEERto drive the testing process through major projects within their niche division.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
1. Good understanding of software test and debug techniques.
2. Experience of manual and automated test environments for embedded and Windows based applications.
3. Proven experience of testing commercial software.
4. Working knowledge of C/C++ in embedded systems (PIC, ARM7/9/M3).
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Self-motivated, and able to work alone or as part of the wider engineering team.
7. Experience of small volume high value product development.
8. Ideal but not essential:
a. Some experience of software development.
b. Understanding of communication protocols (UART/RS485, USB, CAN, Ethernet and TCP/IP).
