Role: Compliance ManagerCompany: Hedge Fund
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 p/a.
Type: Perm - Full Time
A hedge fund based is London looking a Generalist Compliance professional with experience working within Asset Management or the Investment Banking industry.
This is a stand alone compliance position reporting into the CF10/CF11. With a wide remit of duties you will never be twiddling your thumbs and you will gain a great deal of knowledge by working in this broad role.
Some of your main responsibilities include:
- A good understanding of risk-based monitoring programmes
- Review of financial promotions
- Ensure the business is up to date with global regulatory developments and update internal policies and procedures accordingly. You will be the point of contact for the regulator(s).
- Providing periodic compliance reports internally and externally and advice
- Working closely with external regulators for trade reporting and investigations
- Being able to start new projects and are able to suggest improvements continuously.
Some key attributes you should have are:
- Deadline driven and able to stand your ground within a high paced environment
- Communicate at all levels within the business
This is a great opportunity with a clear route to progression of CF10/CF11 within the next 2 to 3 years.
