My client, one of the biggest players within the Silicon Valley, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager/ Engagement Manager.The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for providing excellent hands-on implementation and deployment services to our customers.
Doubling up as a Project Manager, the Engagement Managers will typically have ownership of 5 to 7 client relationships at any given point in time, with ultimate responsibility for all services required for a successful and on-schedule implementation of the clients' products.
Day to Day duties will include:
- Develop and maintain long term, trusted relationships with our clients
- Escalate relationships within client to C-level executives
- Broaden relationships within client to include multiple business and technology areas
- Establish and drive project and customer based Steering Committees
- Ensure long term client satisfaction and referencability
- Craft creative solutions to client business and technology problem
- Work side by side with the sales team to develop level of effort estimate for client projects
- Work with Services leadership to determine optimal project staffing
- Develop detailed project plans and milestones in order to ensure successful completion of the project within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
- Ensure project team utilizes best practices and methodologies
- Anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule early. Maintain overall responsibility for scope and budget of projects, including the development and processing of change orders
- Identify, log, analyze and manage potential and actual issues and risks, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and reviewing how more serious issues and risks might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.

The role will involve 25% traveling including to client site in Hayes 3-4 days a week with the potential to work from home on a Friday.
Rates: Negotiable depending on experience
