Description
My client who are a leading organisation in Market Data Management solutions is looking for a SQL Server BI Analyst to be based out of their office in Kent.You will have excellent T-SQL and SQL Server skills to join our Reporting team where you will be involved in:
* Development of SSRS reports to be deployed within our .NET web application
* Design and implementation of SSAS OLAP cubes
* Development of complex T-SQL stored procedures
* Support and implementations for a number of large multinational clients
* Data validation & analysis
Qualifications / Experience
Required
* Excellent, proven, SQL Server skills:
* Advanced T-SQL scripting, including stored procedures and performance tuning
* SSRS - Experience designing and deploying SSRS Reports using BIDS and Report Builder
* SSAS - Some experience building and deploying OLAP Cubes using BIDS and SSMS
* Excellent written and spoken English; ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues
* Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
Desirable
* Experience writing and debugging MDX queries
* Some working knowledge of SSIS
* Other development skills, especially JavaScript, ASP .NET, C#, Excel, VB6 highly valued
* Business Objects / Crystal Reports

* A good eye for design - to create functional but beautiful data visualizations within SSRS
* Empathy for customers and their challenges, ability to solve business problems through BI
* A strong work ethic, with excellent time management and organizational skills
* A self starter with drive and ambition who does not need close management to achieve results
* Attention to detail and very strong technical + mathematical analytical skills
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Experience / knowledge of the telecom or financial market data industries is preferred
