Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor working on energy from waste projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the candidate will be responsible for commercially running a major Energy from Waste project. The day to day duties of the role will include:
- Leading a team of surveyors on the project
- Liaison with the client
- Forecasting
- Subcontractor accounts and management.
- Compensation events/change management.
- Reporting cost process and developments both internally and to the client.
- Administration of contracts - assessing contract risk and opportunity.
- Attending commercial performance meetings.

Required Experience
Experience working on major civil engineering Energy from Waste or heavy civils projects is essential for the position. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the commercial management of a team/project and NEC contracts. Strong excel skills and sub-contractor knowledge would also be beneficial.
