Role: Information Security ConsultantRate: €350-€400
Location: Dublin
Type: 3-6 month
A blue chip multi national based in South Dublin is looking for a Security Consultant to hit the ground running with a new exciting project. A 3-6 month contract is on offer following immediate start.
Day-to-day:
- The effective integration and ongoing maintenance of IT business resilience capability with Business Continuity Plans, covering disaster recovery, incident management, alerting and notification, IT services levels and IT governance.
- Assess compliance of the clients IT environment with government security guidelines
- Liaise with external assessors engaged by the department to assess compliance with government security guidelines.
- Preparation and review of IT security documentation
Key Requirements:
- CISSP, CISM or CISA certification highly regarded.
- Expert knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
- Broad understanding of IT Security principles including technologies touching data, physical, business process, system integration, e-commerce.
- Advanced project, analysis, problem solving, and business relationship skills
Good interpersonal and consultative skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and manage the timely delivery of projects
