SQL Database Administrator (DBA) - Southampton - 3 months initially - £250 per day
Fast, forever expanding organisation, is looking to recruit a SQL DBA initially on a 3 months contract.
Candidates should have the following skills:
Microsoft SQL, including stored procedures and triggers
Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and/or
Microsoft Business Intelligence
*Knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g. C, Java, Visual Basic)
*Knowledge of good practice in data and service quality
*Experience of database management tasks (e.g. backup, recovery, cloning, installation, replication)
*Experience of database troubleshooting and/or query optimisation
*Experience of Data Warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load).
Preferable skills
*Knowledge of ASP.Net, PHP, or C#.Net
*Prince 2 and/or ITIL qualification
*Experience of web application development
*Experience of working in at IT support role
*Experience of SharePoint site development, and/or of using SharePoint as an information delivery platform
