We are working with a Federal Government organization to source a SQL Developer/DBA with skills in TRIM. Initial contract until 30 June 2014 + extension options.

DUTIES:

  • Detailed analysis of the departments existing records and document management systems including analysis of unstructured data holdings from an ICT infrastructure, information security, and current utilisation perspective to provide an approach for the consolidation of all records and document management functions in to a single system.
  • Implementation of the approved approach and migration of unstructured data holdings in to the single system
  • Work closely with the Department's Change management process, including preparation of change requests, risk management plans, testing and acceptance criteria.
  • End to end Quality Assurance planning to confirm all data is migrated successfully to the single system
  • Monitoring of system performance and capacity during the implementation phase
  • Other technical activities as the role and function supported grows

SKILLS:

  • A superior understanding of HP Trim as a records management and document management system, with at least 5 years solid experience using HP Trim in business and application architecture, system design, system configuration, security design and document migration
  • Detailed understanding and demonstrated experience working with complex ICT infrastructures and an ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the ICT technical spectrum.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing solutions and data migration across large international ICT environments, including change and risk management processes.
  • A superior understanding of Records and Information Management policies and procedures, metadata standards, and how they can be applied within a government department.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical, design, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated highly developed communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels of government and commercial organisations.
