Oracle Middleware Specialist/Application Consultant - AIX, Windows, SQL Server, Security Infrastructure, Web tech, Dutch, English
The Application Consultant will be responsible for ensuring optimal availability and management of applications, taking responsibility for the entire software stack.
Key Skills & Experience;
- Extensive software development experience and familiarity with methodologies.
- Strong technical analysis skills.
- Knowledge of hardware architectures.
- ITIL practitioner.
- Control system knowledge on various platforms, particularly AIX and Windows.
- Knowledge of database platforms such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Knowledge of security architectures.
- Good knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, etc.
- Web technology (IIS, MS Application Centre, ISA, SSL and security aspects)
- Knowledge of technical application management aspects.
- Proven experience of installing, configuring and managing applications, including customisation and Servers.
- Strong communications skill in Dutch and English
