QA Automation Engineer
Desired Background and Skills
Five or more years of automation development in any of the market leading automation tools with preferred experience in QTP/UFT
Experience with automation of mobile and browser-based applications using Selenium and Automation Samurai
Experience with smartphone and tablets hosted at mobile labs such as Perfecto Mobile or similar laboratories
Previous background as an application developer prior to entering the field of test automation
Substantial experience in designing, coding, and using test automation frameworks
Experience automating tests for mobile devices, iPad, and tablet simulators in Mac OSX
Experience automating tests for mobile devices running the Android operating system
Experience or exposure to HP TruClient performance testing technology for mobile applications
Description:
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for coding test automation using a framework created by other members of the automation team. Applications to be automated will be varied between mobile technologies and web browsers. The automation created will be packaged such that it can be used upstream by application development prior to sending the apps downstream to the testing organization.
