A medical device company that prides itself on developing innovative care treatments at their state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facilities is recruiting for a Production Planner to join their team in Cork. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the preparation, monitoring and execution of the Master Production Schedule for Finished Goods and Raw Materials. You will prioritise work orders currently in WIP, Monitor Inventory Levels, liaise with other plants, co-ordinate engineering changes, financial reporting of inventory and be responsible for service level KPI's.

Key Duties:
- Generation of the Master Production Schedule for FGI & Flex Stock.
- Monitor daily production status and coordinate any schedule adjustments/deviations, when required.
- Monitor inventory levels at Inter Company Distribution Centres and prioritise production as appropriate.
- Provide PHRs to Production.
- Assist in executing processes around managing inter-company orders.
- Co-ordination of engineering changes with HWV/QA/Production to enhance product and minimise obsolescence.
- Monthly reporting of DOC levels and achieve DOC targets.
- Bi-annual review of safety stock levels.

- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent Excel skills

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in relevant discipline and/or APICS OR at least 3 years' direct experience in a Materials function (Purchasing/Planning/Warehouse/Distribution) preferably in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment
- Strong Computer Application ability (ERP systems)
