SQL Server BI Developer - Commodities Trading Client £475/DAY

My client, a prestigious Commodities Trading House, is looking for a Sql Server Business Intelligence Developer to join their team for an initial 3 month contract.

Role: Microsoft BI Developer (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
Rate: Up to £475 per day
Duration: Initial 3 month contract (possible further extensions)
Location: Central London

Position purpose:
? A Microsoft BI developer is required to help build and develop the clients business intelligence capabilities.

Main responsibilities:
? Design and build ETL packages using Microsoft SSIS 2012
? Perform database performance tuning and query optimisation.
? Build and maintain OLAP Cubes using Microsoft SSAS
? Develop documentation of systems, policies and procedures
? Create and support reports using SSAS, SSRS

Experience required
? Developing ETL using SSIS and SQL 2012
? Building and maintaining OLAP Cubes using Microsoft SSAS
? Full lifecycle experience of developing BI systems
? Experience in SSAS Tabular Model and new 2012 functionality will be advantageous.

As the client is a commodities / energy trading house, any experience working for a similar organisation will be a bonus.
