The Company
A global information technology, consulting and outsourcing company, with offices in over 50 countries worldwide require 3 experienced Microsoft Lync Architect to join their team in Melbourne, Australia for an initial period of 6 months with a view to multiple extensions. Visa sponsorship will be offered for the successful candidates.
The Opportunity
The Microsoft Lync Architect will join the Consulting business to help lead a new implementation of Lync and associated technologies on site at their end user. The Lync Architect will design the architecture across the end user and lead the task of approving and reviewing any documents relating to the technical architecture. The Lync Architect will be the face of the Consulting business on site at the client and will be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels to deliver Lync solutions.
The Person
The Microsoft Lync Architect will have the following skills and experience:
- Consulting company on site at clients
- Technical architectural design - Microsoft Lync & various solutions.
- Designing Greenfield Lync architecture for a client organisation, employees and partners.
- Defining and developing technical solution architecture documents related to large scale Microsoft Lync deployment.
- Facilitated the review and approval process for technical architecture documents.
- Network concepts including TCP/IP, routing, SMTP protocol, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Communications networks and Server environments
- Proven migration skills (Lync Server 2013)
- Communicated technology recommendations from a business perspective
- Certifications are preferred.
