Job Description
We are looking for a talented developer to work in the Credit Risk Technology team. The successful candidate should have strong SQL and Java skills. Web development experience and knowledge of object databases would be advantageous.
The roles are well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in the business areas that that the technology applies to - particularly investment banking. The candidate will work in the Credit Risk Technology team and will be contributing to some of the most significant risk projects in the organisation. The role includes interactions with multiple technology and business groups. The successful candidate will work in a global team with colleagues in Ireland, the UK, the US and India. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Requirements
* Degree/Masters or equivalent experience
* 3+ years post-qualification technical work experience
* Experience in banking/finance sector a plus
Technical Skills
* Strong Java required - JUnit, JMock, Talend Open Studio
* Strong SQL required - Netezza advantageous
* Full project life cycle especially Agile iterative development
* Basic design patterns and OOP
Desirable
* Eclipse
* AngularJS
* Jasmine
* JSON
* REST Web Services
* MyBatis
* Hadoop experience advantageous
* Knowledge/experience with ETL
* JIRA/Crucible/SVN
* Python experience
* Good Javascript/HTML
