On behalf of our high profile client, I am looking for a senior Embedded software developer (low-level) with good hardware knowledge to fulfil an initial 6 month contract in Lund, Sweden.
Project description:
The work will include development and maintenance of the Flash loader and/or boot loader code for Embedded devices. The loader/boot software is run directly on the hardware platform. There is no operating system or file system to rely on when working on this level. Flash Core Security works with products in all segments and on several different hardware platforms. Our work typically starts very early in the projects on the very first prototypes.
Skills/Requirements:
- Master of Science in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering or equivalent.
Experience in following areas is wanted:
- Several years professional experience of C/C++ programming for Embedded systems
- Real Time programming; a deep understanding on the demands that a time critical system requires.
- Experience working with hardware near software, for example experience working with software development on ARM architecture, experience from Ericsson platforms, QualComm platforms or similar
- Experience from working with security related functionality for example RSA.
- Experience from working with software debug tools like Lauterbach Trace32
- Assembler programming (some)
- GIT, Gerrit
- GCC
