Your role is to participate in a cross-sector, multidisciplinary team towards structural improvements on products and process level. By doing this you will improve availability, reduce factory cycle time and lower total cost of our machines.
Job Mission
The Engineer contributes to the cross-sector structural improvement project(s) and closing the learning loop from past problems to prevention on product and processes
Job Description
Conduct in-depth structural product issues and differentiate the design and process improvement
Audit on the roll out process towards install base and new product introductions for the structural improvement and closing of the lessons learned
Report progress though monthly report
Work with the project leader to prevent re-occurrence of same failure mode(s)
Support the project leader in preventive actions, roll-out of the process for structural improvement and closing of the lessons learned
Be a member of the cross-sector review team
Educational Level
Bachelor or Master in Physics, Mechatronics, Electrical -, Mechanical Engineering
Experience
3-5 years of experience.
Experience in product development, design or industrial engineering
Knowledge and experience within the branch
Six Sigma is preferred
