At the express request of one of our largest Multi-National Clients based in the Irish Market we are actively looking to fill an urgent requirement within their Dublin Office. Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the server, storage and backup functions across the EMEA region
- Providing after hours and escalation support for 24×7 server and storage environment (e.g. supporting system outages and incident response scenarios)
- Managing incident ticket response and resolution, including working with end users
- Following problem management best practices to identify and address any root cause
- Troubleshooting physical, data, and network layer issues across servers and end points
- Ensuring that all Operating System software is kept current and appropriately patched
- Ensuring that all hardware is maintained and kept current
- Assisting and performing authorized patching of the servers and storage environment
Role Requirements
- Must have a relevant certification for role – Microsoft, VMware with Citrix CloudStack and Dell MCM a distinct advantage
- Must have a minimum of 8 years hands-on experience supporting Server infrastructure
- Must have a minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience working within a diverse Windows & exchange environment with Microsoft o365 a distinct advantage
- Must have at least three years’ experience managing vendors and driving them to deliver quality services and prompt effective support
- Industry recognized engineering, computer science or IT Bachelor level degree
- Must be flexible in terms of availability and ability to travel to other regional offices
- Must have good written and verbal English skills

DOE - Negotiable
