SENIOR FUNDAMENTAL ANALYST- ASSET MANAGEMENT-GENEVAThe EMPLOYER
Strong Asset Manager having a solid reputation on the local and international market, our client is today looking for a senior fundamental analyst in order to strengthen one of the key team of the department. The requested candidate will have a multi sector and global equities background. The purpose of the role is to bring a financial/accounting and fundamental input in a quantitative team, while keeping a scientific approach.
The ROLE
You will report to the Head of the department and your analysis will help to make decision and to improve the results. Your main tasks will be:
- Deliver thorough fundamental analysis to the Equity platform
- Conduct researches and analysis on investment philosophy, process, positioning and current market trends
- Prepare ad hoc and monthly + quarterly reports
- Update and maintain internal databases and portfolio repository platforms
- Daily support the quant team in developing models and strategies
- Develop knowledge of the market and competitive landscape
- Assist with decision making process and stock picking
- Support the quant team in the systematic approach
Your PROFILE
- Min. Master degree/PhD in Finance-Accounting or Business related+CFA-CPA or ACCA certification is a plus
- Min 6-8 years experience in fundamental analysis OR in financial analysis, within a scientific/quantitative environment (within an asset management firm ideally)
- Ability to lead searches with an empiric and scientific approach
- Figures oriented, strong accounting background (solid exposure to balance sheet, financial controlling skills, ability to deliver advanced financial reporting, etc.)
- Familiar with tools that help to lead researches on accounting information (ex: HOLT)
- Strong knowledge of financial markets
- Very good communication skills, fuent in English and ideally in French
