Due to rapid growth and internationally recognised for the exceptional high standards,a global Medical Device manufacture is looking for a Site Operations Manager to provide the strategic direction for manufacturing, engineering and supply chain functions.
The role:
- Performance of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions
- Ensure key performance metrics are met and continuous improvement activities are promoted
- Develop culture of lean manufacturing across the operations
- Ensure that at all times the operations team is fully resourced, trained and motivated
- Ensure all quality critical processes are at a validated state and maintain to deliver statistically significant quality levels.
- Ensure that the transfer of new products or line extensions are introduced in to manufacturing in a fully compliant and effective manner
- Strategic and Logical Approach to their job
To be successful in the role you'll need:
- Medical Device experience
- Science or Engineering degree (or equivalent industry experience)
- Solid Business and Management experience.
- Familiar with ISO13485 and FDA QSR will be an asset for the position.
- Six Sigma and associated Lean Manufacturing disciplines will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of the management and control of automated assembly and packaging processes, clean environments.
