A global company is currently looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to join a company, which not only has a global presence. The company is going though a major spurt which will provide plenty of career progression for any employee who wants to expand and develop their skills and abilities.

Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to maximise efficiencies including delivering improvements in productivity, health and safety etc.
- You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, empowerment and employee participation by leading, developing and motivating the site team, ensuring optimum manufacturing performance is achieved.
- By identifying, and acting on, opportunities for improvement and cost reduction you will also assist the business in creating value both internally and for the customer base.
Must have experience in the following:

- Manufacturing or Production Management background

- Be able to demonstrate how you have made a positive impact in driving a company forward.

- Strong IVD knowledge (experience will be a distinct advantage)

- Change Management and have theoretical and practical experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.

- Able to provide details of how you have reduced labour costs.

- The ability to lead, motivate and inspire the team and colleagues at every level.

- Exceptional communications skills.
