Role - ISDX Engineer
Contract - 6 months
Location - Edinburgh
Candidates are required to hold a current Disclosure Scotland Certificate (dated within the last 6 months), or be willing to apply for the certificate at CV submission stage.
An ISDX Engineer required initially 6 months for my public sector client in Edinburgh.
The project is to implement a replacement IP Telephony solution and decommission the clients PBX network.
As the ISDX Engineer you will reconfigure and de-commission existing PBX equipment.
Help in the maintenance and support of the current PBX set-up during the decommissioning processes, by providing specialist skills and knowledge to investigate & resolve telephony and network faults within agreed SLAs.
Essential skills required:
*Experience in the maintenance & support of Siemens ISDX equipment
*Experience in the installation and decommissioning of Siemens ISDX equipment
*Experience of maintenance and support of Siemens DXR
*Experience of fault finding traditional telephony and associated cabling
Desirable skills:
*Experience of installing, configuring and management of IP Telephony systems
*Administration of Siemens OpenScape Voice IP telephony systems
*Administration of Mitel IP telephony systems
*Experience of installation, maintenance, support and decommissioning of Nortel and Ericsson telephony systems
*Administration of Siemens OpenScape Voice
