Work Schedule
The contractor would start either at 4:00am or 5:00am and work up to 10 hours per day. Typical work schedule would be four 10 hour days.
For example the contractor could work Monday through Thursday one week and then the contractor would work Wednesday through Saturday.
The contractor would always have two days off in a row and will not work on Sundays.
The manager is seeking a manufacturing operator, preferably with GMP experience working in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, classified environment.
This site makes radioactive pills. This manufacturing operator will formulate, fill, test and package radioactive drugs. Some activities will be working in a cleanroom.
This contractor must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator and reading equations.
This site is heavily regulated by the FDA, OSHA and other agencies that monitor the radioactivity.
The exposure to working with the radioactive material is closely monitored and the employees were proper PPE and shields (if needed) near the radioactive material.
Requirements:
Associate's degree with chemistry background preferred
Perform basic mathematical equations
Follow work instructions and maintain good documentation
HPLC experience would be beneficial
Working in a manufacturing preferred ideally pharmaceutical experience
Able to stand/move around for 8-10 hours per day
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
