SQL SSIS ETL Developer - CRM/Marketing - Bristol 

 A highly successful and innovative organisation is seeking a SQL SSIS Developer for a large scale CRM project.

 You will be a member of a team that is helping the Head of Insight conceive, implement and measure major Customer  Insight/analytical CRM initiatives, working with data at an aggregate level and mining out insights for commercial  advantage.

 Understanding data is critical to helping drive value for the business. Data and the insight you develop plays a key role  in influencing marketing decisions and in shaping the strategy of the business overall.

 You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the existing marketing database to enable the whole insight team  to support the activities required to grow their B2B activities.

 You will be required to work with multiple data suppliers to develop the CRM solution, ensuring it maintains fit for  purpose and oversee the project management of these enhancements.

The Role:

-        Support the delivery of best practice market, customer & operational insight service through database analytics.

-        Deliver methods for enriching and enhancing datasets utilising assets within the business, ensuring the available                data is clean, accurate, and as fully utilisable as possible at all times.

-        Provide and make recommendations from the MI delivered by the NBA system. Work to enhance and refine the                   reports, and the NBAs themselves utilising the information from across the business. 

-        Develop the data infrastructure which supports strategic insights, working closely with colleagues in the CRM,                      insight and campaigns team.

-        Understand the needs of the business and work closely with internal customers to ensure insight solutions are                      tailored and relevant to deliver value.

-        Establish relationships with key customers, suppliers, colleagues and peers to obtain/exchange information,                        identify and implement best practices and where appropriate ascertain customer's future requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

-       Excellent SQL skills

-       Experience of SSIS as an ETL tool

-       Deep experience of direct/database marketing and CRM, gained within a high-profile consumer services brand

-       Extensive data mining skills; able to interrogate data and draw intelligence/insight to inform marketing decisions

-       Has experience and understanding of using and managing the processes to ensure marketing data is clean, de-                 duplicated, accurate, permission enabled and in a usable state for analysis, campaigning and MI

-       Deep experience of driving customer insight from a range of sources

-       Previous experience of working with large and complex data sets

-       Proven expertise in using customer information effectively in a CRM context

-       Good understanding of customer lifecycle management

-       Good client facing skills

-       Creative & analytic mind with a high degree of commercial acumen

-       Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

-       Ability to deliver high quality results at pace in high pressure environments
