Description
The Senior Product Manager will focus on building telephony based advertising products to service our growing advertiser base. Help set vision and strategy for our in-house call tracking platform as well as our advertising platform. Responsible for rationalizing business cases and feature sets, developing and executing products from Cradle to grave, and communicating broadly to the larger organization. Accountable for the viability and ultimate success of the product.Job Details:
- Write product requirements and clear, concise functional specifications for consumption by engineering
- Research customer and business needs and understand how to build the right balance into the product
- Help set vision and strategic direction for performance products
- Engage directly with engineering to build metric-driven, parameterized advertiser products that can be adjusted quickly based on market needs or new information.
- Drive complex decisions involving multiple stakeholders with potentially diverging opinions; communicate and sell strategy, direction, and decisions to leaders across the organization
- In a fast changing market, find or generate the big ideas that keep the product relevant
Mandatory:
- 6-8 years Product Management experience shipping Internet products, preferably in the E-commerce or Internet advertising space
- Strong technical background - comfortable working with engineering to discuss trade-off between different systems designs
- Prior experience developing platform features and API-based products for integration and consumption by other parties
- Understanding of web development best practices and the product management life cycle
- Strong project management skills; organized, extremely high attention to detail, able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects
- Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Bias for action - track record of chunking large initiatives into smaller projects and shipping quickly
- A bachelor's degree in a computer or engineering field required.
- Experience developing telephony and IVR products
- MBA a plus
