The purpose of this role is to work closely with Program managers and the Program team to offer support in the areas of program hygiene, quality, issues, risks, scheduling, reporting and compliance.

This Program is subject to significant scrutiny and audit requirements, meaning all aspects of the Program need to be transparent, and have information available at all times.

This role requires a diligent individual, able to cope with demands of high stress situations, and be highly organised.

Key Accountabilities for the role include:

  • Provide Quality Assurance to Project and Program deliverables and artefacts
  • Monitor, update and Report on the Program Registers
  • Interface with the ES PMO and processes
  • Ensure appropriate governance processes are being followed
  • Develop and update PMO and Governance processes
  • Coordinate program reporting to ES PMO and for program stakeholders and governance
  • Provide Scheduling support and assurance, updating Program Schedules with input from the Project and Program Managers
  • Develop and enhance standards for ensuring compliance
  • Maintain Program scheduling metrics for the purpose of performance reporting
  • Prepare frequent analysis reports with recommendations to Program Manager for corrective actions
  • Manage inter-project and inter-program dependencies

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills.

  • Solid background in Project Scheduling
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Telecommunications or other qualifications/industry experience as deemed suitable.
  • Relevant industry/technology certification is highly desirable, TDP, PMBOK, AIPM and others.
  • Previous Project/Program coordination experience essential.
  • Advanced time management skills required.
  • Meeting coordination and Minute taking experience required.
  • Artefact review and governance experience preferred.
  • Skills in the use of MS Office, SharePoint and MS Project essential.
  • Sound knowledge of Program and Project Management processes, as well as some experience in Service Delivery.
