Role Description:
The BI Backend developer will focus on implementing the ETL layer of the solution.
Core Accountabilities:
*BI Backend delivery (extract, transform, load data)
*Data governance
*Data store design and development, testing and maintenance
*Develop ETL procedures
*Set up physical data model
*Perform technical tests
*Support ICT on software installations and future migrations
Essential qualities:
*Minimum 5 years' experience with Business Intelligence
*Extensive experience with ETL tools
*Extensive experience with dimensional data models
*Extensive Experience with Data Warehouses/Data Marts
*Experience with Oracle
*Experience with Pentaho Kettle
*Attention to detail
*Proactive problem solving
Desirable qualities:
*Extensive experience with Pentaho Kettle
*Degree level or equivalent
*High quality interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
*Ability to work unsupervised
*Good presentational skills, English is the common work language
