We have an exciting opening for a Vendor/Contract Administrator position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area. This is a long-term contract position. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Responsibilities:
-- Daily job responsibilities will include: interaction with team members, negotiation activities with vendors, communication with internal customers and management, interfacing with the Law Department regarding contractual issues.
-- Assists in the acquisition, negotiation, and renewal functions related to IT vendor contracts. Evaluate and determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of acquiring IT hardware, software, and services. Ensure contracts/licenses will cover potential scope and use of IT hardware, software, and services.
-- Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and ROI metrics and initiating contract modifications. Monitors existing contracts, renegotiations, and renewal agreements.
Candidate Requirements:
-- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
-- Experience in vendor relationship management - Required
-- Strong negotiation background - Required
-- Experience and knowledgeable in contract structure and cost modelling - Required
-- Strong customer service orientation - Required
