Role - IT Applications Project Manager
Location - Paisley & Glasgow
Contract - 6 months
Candidates are required to hold a current Disclosure Scotland Certificate (dated within the last 12 months), or be willing to apply for the certificate at CV submission stage.
IT Applications Project Manager required to lead IT Applications related projects. In particular to deliver a portfolio of projects covering:
*Multiple separate applications and end user groups
*Primarily project management of the portfolio, but where required also hands-on business analysis and related activities.
*Ensuring projects are delivered on time & budget Matrix managing the Acute Application resources, working with IT Service Deliver Managers, and wider IT Service teams.
*Ensure ITIL service transition techniques are used to deliver successful implementation of all aspects of the service.
Essential skills & experience required:
*5 - 8 years practical experience in the specification, development and implementation of information systems (within a public or private service environment)
*Experience of NHS, preferably Acute Services as will need to hit ground running and interact with a wide range of services
*Experience and knowledge and IT project management methodologies (eg PRINCE-2)
*Business analysis and process re-engineering experience and demonstrable skills
*Experience of supporting and developing large-scale, multi-site IT systems.
