Your tasks:
- Responsible for handling all claims in the course of the project
- Supports the Engineer to execute the project
- Responsible to assess all submitted claims
- Ascertain, appraise and document all relevant claim events
- Approaches and involves all disciplines involved
- Determines and coordinates work packages to assess the claims
- Attends to all necessary meetings
- Prepares the basis for possible negotiations in matters of the particular claim(s)
- Prepares the necessary composition
- Collaborates with the engineers representative in order to file claims on the basis of the applicable contract to ensure quality and timely performance
- Establishes and keeps updated files of each claim
- Prepares reports as requested
Your qualifications
- A proven record of experience in the construction of off-shore wind farms
- Willingness to travel and work on site(s)
- Be familiar with FIDIC style contracts
- Experience in claims management
- Strong ability to assert oneself - hands on mentality
- Able to work autonomously in providing advice and solutions
- Adept at contributing fully to the identification of their own objectives/deliverables and be able to determine how to achieve them
- Fluent German & English in negotiations
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven experiences with SIEMENS, Vestas or comparable manufacturer of WTGs
- SCC-Certification or similar training of occupational safety
