Director of Systems and Development - Up to £60kComputer Futures are currently representing a key client looking for a senior candidate for a Head of Systems and Development role based in the Gloucester area.
This is a new role that has arisen due to the company's natural growth.
The newly appointed Director of Systems will be a key member for the company and will be responsible for the IT strategy and delivery plans over the next 24 months within the business. The Head of Systems will work closely with the senior management team in order to produce strategically consistent IT programs.
One of the primary projects will be to implement a professional Software Development Lifecycle. Whilst overlooking the day to day operations across the IT department will also be a key part of the role.
In order to be successful, you must show a clear understanding of a web application development environments based on a LAMP technology stack PHP, MySQL and other related technologies.
The successful candidate will have over 6 -10 years experience of systems development with a degree in computing or a technology focused subject.
A proven track record of designing and delivering IT strategy for a high growth E-Commerce company is essential.
In order to achieve the desired results, the candidate must have previously organised and managed a small successful IT team.
The client is looking for a technical candidate capable of demonstrating a clear understanding of key technology areas, enough so to discuss and engage (when needed) with developers, suppliers and other IT related members.
