An exciting opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join a major Public Sector client based in Essex.You will:
- Play a central role in the delivery of the organisation's efficiency targets, using your tenacity, drive and commercial acumen.
- Strategically manage the relationships between key stakeholders, and new and existing suppliers.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, using your experience of successfully managing relationships and partnerships.
- Deliver demonstrable outcomes mutually beneficial to both customer and supplier.
- Demonstrate your ability to evaluate collaborative opportunities with other public bodies and to positively affect the long term benefits for the organisation.
- Understand suppliers and markets and how they operate.
- Have experience of managing a robust supply chain.
- You may equally have experience of managing business relationships such as Joint Venture, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Required Experience:
- Lead and manage the relationship with one or more strategic suppliers.
- Develop joint customer/supplier business plans.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and innovation with allocated suppliers/contracts.
- Deliver savings and improved efficiency through partnership working and identification of opportunities.
- Lead new processes, manage existing and establish efficient working practices.
- Ensure the service is delivering against the required corporate outcomes.
- Significant experience in project management.
- Proven ability and experience in managing multi-million pound supplier relationships.
- Significant experience and delivery of savings and efficiency through effective Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent communication, engagement and influencing skills.
