SQL Server Developer (BI STACK) - Energy Client £550/DAY

My client, a global Energy Client and Commodities Trading firm, is looking for a Sql Server Business Intelligence Developer to join their team.

Role: Microsoft BI Developer (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
Rate: Up to £475 per day
Duration: 3 month rolling contract (multiple extensions possible)
Location: Central London

Position purpose:
A Microsoft BI developer is required to help build and develop the clients business intelligence capabilities.

Main responsibilities:
· Design and build ETL packages using Microsoft SSIS 2012
Perform database· performance tuning and query optimisation.
Build and maintain OLAP Cubes· using Microsoft SSAS
Develop documentation of systems, policies and· procedures
Create and support reports using SSAS, SSRS·

Experience required
Developing ETL using SSIS and SQL 2012·
Building and maintaining OLAP Cubes using Microsoft SSAS·
Full· lifecycle experience of developing BI systems
Experience in SSAS Tabular· Model and new 2012 functionality will be advantageous.

As the client is a commodities / energy trading house, any experience working for a similar organisation will be a bonus.
