Experienced Mid/Senior level .NET Developer
Contract 3 to 6 months initially, immediate start, CBD Location
An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Mid/Senior level .NET Developer to join an application development team. 3 to 6 month engagement with possible additional extensions.
Your role as .NET Developer in this team will see you dealing with the full Software Development LifeCycle, creating new applications, supporting/enhancing existing applications and ironing out bugs in new developments. You will be an undergraduate with excellent degree results. You will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years commercial development experience with complex, enterprise size applications. You will have done a lot of web based app work. You should have front and Back End development experience utilising SQL databases.
Experience with Booking systems, Purchasing systems, Trading systems or Ticketing systems should be highlighted on your resume.

As the successful .NET Developer you will possess the following attributes:
Expertise in all aspects and phases of applications development (inc analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, support and change control)
Knowledge of the full Software Development experience
Demonstrated effective oral communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
3 to 5+ years commercial experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET 4.0, MVC, SQL (Concepts, DB design & query)
Experience coding complex Enterprise .NET applications, possibly around WCF, WPF and Web Services on medium/large n-tier systems
Experience with Agile Methodologies (XP, Scrum, TDD, Mocking) preferred.
This contract position is available for an immediate start. There WILL be technical testing.
