Role - Project Controls ManagerLocation - Basel, Switzerland
Type - 24 month contract
One of our clients, a reputable global Biopharmaceutical organisation, is in need of an experienced Project Controls Manager to manage their portfolio of large CAPEX projects.
They will manage projects upwards of CHF50 mil + and will be supported by a team of 3-5 project control engineers.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• To set up, monitor and appraise the financial and schedule performance of a portfolio of major capital projects
• Support project set up, scoping and estimates in all project phases
• Co-ordinating and leading a team of Project Control Engineers
• Performing project cost and schedule reviews and project control audits
• Developing and updating the project controls plan
• Producing cost estimates and reviewing technical bids as part of the bid review team
Key Requirements include:
• Fluent in both English and German
• Degree educated - BSc / MSc Engineering / Chemistry / Architect / Process or equivalent
• Experience of leading a team of project controls engineers
• Knowledge of planning software MS Project / Primavera
• Experience of using SAP systems or similar financial software
• Experience of working on large capital investment projects
• A background in working in the Biopharmaceutical industry would be an advantage
