Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate web developer to join our team of designers, developers and strategists. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven, and loves to solve problems.
You have:
- a desire to create best-in-class products and stay on top of the latest web technologies
- a good sense of design and an eye for the details
- a positive attitude and love working with a team
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
- high level of self-management and organizational skills
- Expertise with HTML5/CSS3 coding in all browsers
- Experience with LESS/SASS
- Expertise with mobile optimization/responsive coding
- Keen interest in learning new languages
- Respect of industry-accepted standards, specifications and best practices
- Ability to learn new development techniques as needed
- PHP MVC frameworks (CodeIgnitor, CakePHP, Lithium, Laravel, etc)
- MySQL (noSQL and other relational/non-relational databases a plus)
- Linux servers
- Working with and understanding the importance of S3 / CDNs
- Custom Google Analytics implementations
- DevOps: understanding of server and cluster structures and deployments
- Ability to implement optimization, scaling and caching techniques
- Understanding of 3rd party API integration
