Description
Medical Writer required to join a Pennsylavnia Medical Communications Group, to work on pharmaceutical/biotechnology promotional programs and initiatives.Programs include advisory boards, speaker bureaus, and market research
You will play a direct role in content creation by writing and revising a range of materials, especially slide decks, meeting recaps, scripts, and program elements such as invitations, web pages, discussion guides, executive summaries, newsletters, etc
Additional responsibilities will include:
Interacting with physician faculty and client medical/marketing staffs to ensure that information is accurate, complete, on-message, and fully compliant
- Managing submission and revision of materials through clients' medical-legal review process.
- Research medical information
- Travels to attend and report on program events and medical conferences
- Attend program events (such as advisory boards) and prepare summary reports
You should have:
-2-5 years writing experience in promotional medical/pharmaceutical education or medical publishing
-Bachelor's degree or higher in English, communications, or a related field; or in the life sciences. PhD, MD or PharmD is preferred.
-Demonstrated medical writing experience
-Medical agency experience
-Specific experience in any of the therapeutic areas above is a bonus
