Our client, one of the most respected investment management firms in Boston and Globally, are aggressively seeking a game-changing addition to their Fixed Income Systems team. They are looking for a Senior Java Engineer who is comfortable working directly with investors and traders on mission critical projects within Fixed Income.In this role you will interact with technical teams as well as business users at all levels of the organization, to uncover unidentified opportunities to improve or create an edge in the investment process. You will also be responsible for acting upon these identified upgrades through the production of high quality code and solutions to complex business problems.
In order to be successful in this role you should have a minimum of six years hands on experience in design and development of commercial applications in Java. If you have experience multi-threading you are ahead of the game and will be able to add tremendous value to the existing team. Experience with Swing or problem solving for production issues will also make you stand out amongst applicants. Finally, if you have been a game changer at another Financial Services firm you will be a strong candidate and your skills will be honed and tested.
