Description
An aix system administrator role has arisen in a bank in London.The contract is destined to last at 5.5 months and the role is offering a rate of £ a day. This AIX systems administrator role will revolve around configuring and delivering AIX based server environments and services.
The key responsibilities of this Aix administrator role are to:
- To install and support the products but also pass on skills to other employees.
- Configure and deliver AIX based server environments and services.
The candidate will be highly motivated who can work successfully, be independent and work as a team player. More importantly the candidate needs to be highly analytical and effective under pressure.
The Essentials:
- Significant experience in working within the same environment
- Proficient in AIX server admin skills using CSM and NIM.
- Extensive experience or knowledge of Veritas cluster server.
- Experience with using EMC SAN and NAS storage solutions.
Desired but not essential:
- Solaris knowledge/experience
- RHEL/SUSE Linux experience
