Embedded Software Engineer - East MidlandsDue to continuous growth of our midlands based client we are currently looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their award winning R&D Engineering Team to work on a number of our electronic products range.
The Job:
- Understanding the needs of the users of our products and the role of our products in the wider system. Capture the requirements in specifications which support validation and acceptance testing.
- Combining the understanding of requirements, theory and technology to make sound design decisions. Produce creative and innovative design concepts through collaboration.
Technical Skills:
- Embedded Programming in C
- ARM Cortex M3, ARM9/ARM7, MSP430 microcontroller experience
- RF/wireless protocol design experience
- GSM/GPRS module level interfacing with microcontrollers knowledge
- I2C/SPI/ADC/UART microcontroller experience
- Simple application development using Windows Forms for testing and exercising embedded products
- Source control experience
- Analogue Electronics knowledge
