Position Description:
This position will report to the director of Research. This group will oversee programming and sales research for cable network and diversity research for the company.
Qualifications:
4+ years previous experience in broadcast/media/research
Experience with local or national TV ratings data;
Working knowledge of relevant data analysis systems
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Arianna, NPower, Scarborough Prime Lingo, Simmons OneView, and AdViews is required.
Ability to analyze data and transfer into meaningful stories or insights
Able to write focus group screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires and custom study results is a plus
Hands on mentality and ability to work independently
Passion for TV, media, factual entertainment programming
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Very good attention to detail

Daily thoughtful and innovative sales pieces
Weekly/monthly/quarterly strategic programming and sales reports
Pull data and/or put together presentations for ad hoc requests from PR, marketing, sales, programming and finance The responsibilities are many, and not limited to those written in this document.
