Required Skills

  • Graduate or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject, such as business, marketing, finance, or improvement/OD.Extensive experience of NHS procurement, financial administration and systems.
  • Extensive experience in writing Bids, EOI, PQQ and ITT within statutory or private sector (10 years).
  • Developing performance and service reports
  • Good understanding technical contracts and contracting law.
  • High levels of numeracy, analytical and negotiation skills, high level of understanding of healthcare information, understanding of financial management.

Purpose of the role
The Commercial bid co-coordinator will take operational responsibility for the Trusts response to tenders. The focus of the role will be the development of the Trusts response to various bids and tenders at EOI, PQQ and the ITT stage. The post holder will ensure that the Trust response leads to a successful bid. candidate will need to display technical capability and have strong relationship skills to successfully engage providers and commissioners
