Description
Progressive Global Energy has been tasked in sourcing a Reservoir Engineering Technician for a fast growing oil and gas company in the Denver area. Due to growth and restructuring, a brand new position has opened to provide support this successful company's midcontinental team.In this role you will assist the assigned region by gathering and managing data, maintaining and running Aries databases for economic analyses, and generating reports and presentations for management. You may also assist other groups, including Production Engineering, in various capacities such as data gathering and cost tracking. Aries, Excel, and PowerPoint experience is highly desired. Economic and business acumen is a plus.
Below is a list of the Job Responsibilities:
- Provide economic analysis using Aries software
- Maintain Aries databases regularly to track production and reserves
- Support operations and reservoir engineers with data management
- Retrieve, aggregate, and analyze data from various sources
- Update and summarize daily operations and production data
- Generate graphs, charts, and reports for tracking and presentations
- Meet deadlines and advance multiple projects concurrently as needed
Other:
- Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with BCEI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements
- Assure all work performed adheres to BCEI standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned
