- Strong SQL Coding skills
- MS SQL BI stack
- Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence tools including Integrated Microsoft Components
- Production/implementation of BI Systems
- ETL
Desirable skills
- SSAS, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services & Analysis Services)
- Knowledge of Sharepoint & MS Office 365 would be beneficial.
Main Responsibilities include
- Assessment of the opportunities to deploy Microsoft SQL reporting technology
- Evaluate purpose and content of business reporting
- Develop new, or improve existing, format, use and control
- Collaborate on reporting specifications analysing user requirements
- Comprehend and evaluate impact of system changes as they affect reporting
- Perform ad-hoc analytical requests and research projects assigned by management
- Conduct responsibilities according to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Troubleshoot BI tools/system; performance-tune BI applications as necessary
- Mentoring others
- Assist in the architecting of a robust roadmap for delivery of MS SQL Reporting
- Communicate effectively within the team, with developers and management.
- Demonstrate good customer service with all the end users
