The Client:-
Our client, a Global Consultancy (FTSE 500) currently requires OpenVMS Administrator/Support for a 6 month contract in Trondheim/Oslo, Norway (3 months Trondheim/6 months Oslo).
Role:-
OpenVMS Administration & Support Application Maintenance and Operations (disk backups, restores etc.)
Candidate:-
Open VMS System (Alpha server) Administration & Support experience
Must have OpenVMS System Administration experience
Experience in performing disk backups, restores and be knowledgeable on the HW specifics
Expertise in HP Basic, DCL & C++ basics
Knowledge about deploying scripts & EXE's in Open VMS production environment
Knowledge about FTP, SFTP, Connect Direct, TCPIP Socket & MQ
Rate:-
€70 - €80 per hour
