Presentation Specialist/Graphic Designer


After the first week or two, the candidate may work remotely depending on work project types and meetings.

Job Description
This position is an individual contributor role that will provide graphic design and presentation development support to IT's Digital Technologies & Operations group. This is a fast-paced, high-performing department.
This individual has proven graphic design ability, creativity, pays attention to detail, expert knowledge of MS PowerPoint, and solid production skills. Responsibilities include using your graphic design expertise to shape and develop presentations to senior executives. This individual must have the ability to collect and aggregate information from their internal clients and translate it into clear, concise, persuasive visual context.

Essential Functions:
Work in a team environment, collaborating with SME's to translate their story into compelling, easy-to-digest visuals using minimal words within PowerPoint
Transform text-based data into visually stimulating, cohesive design that tells a story and doesn't miss a single opportunity to visualize data (Info graphics portfolio/experience a plus)
Produce clean, concise PowerPoint presentations showing financials, performance status, risks, and other key measures for review by executive committees
Create and modify presentations and supporting materials to communicate and account for strategic imperatives, risks and opportunities, and other information-based strategies
Administers and maintains the presentations, slide libraries, and version control
Use your creative ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-read presentations using charts, graphics, or visual aids

Expert software knowledge in PowerPoint, along with Adobe CS software (eg Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, & Dreamweaver)

Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in graphic design or related field
3 - 5 years' experience as a graphic designer/visual communications
A clean and diverse portfolio of your work online or PDF
Demonstrate code of ethics and professional responsibility
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships with large, complex organizations
Ability to consistently demonstrate integrity, high-energy, initiative, and self-confidence
Familiarity with governmental programs and regulations in the health care field, which will affect the operations of the business
Dedication to diversity
