Description
My client is recruiting for an interim IFRS Accounting specialist for a 6 month contract based at their head office in Leicester.
You will be a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant preferably with banking experience.
The objective of the role is to fully implement IFRS9 using previous technical accounting expertise.
You will have knowledge of accounting standards and preparing statutory accounts, dealing with complex information and accounting issues in order to debate and present solutions.
Your responsibilities will include;
-Production of clear concise reports
-Hedging
-Understand and Analyse the impact of the accounting standards and regulatory changes on the business to enable the business to meet new IFRS9 obligations.
-Understand the prior and implement the emerging industry practice
-Carry out research and technical analysis
-Liaise with internal stakeholders in relation to IFRS and develop an awareness
-Provide options for potential commercial solutions
This role would suit an IFRS Accounting expert with prior banking experience, who is wanting a longer term contract role. My client is a fast growing business with opportunity for development.
