Internal Audit activities are made up of three types of work including assurance, investigations and advisory and cover all areas of the FCA.

Draw on past experience, including providing appropriate support and challenge to other team members.
Play an active part in improving the way the Internal Audit team works.

What skills and experience do I need?

Ideally the successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have recognised accountancy or internal audit professional qualifications.

You will need to have:
Excellent communication skills. This includes the ability to communicate confidently and credibly, both orally and in writing, with senior management and subject matter experts.
 Strong analytical skills and pragmatism.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
More than three years previous internal and/or external audit experience.
Proven project management skills, including the ability to apply project and programme disciplines in the delivery of multiple audit reviews in accordance with audit methodologies.
