Our client in Atlanta, GA is looking for an SSIS ETL Developer for an exciting opportunity. Our client is seeking someone who will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. SSIS ETL Developer will be responsible for:
- Migrate DTS packages to SSIS
- Document existing, new and future ETL packages and processes
- Technical project support for IT Projects and applications
- Batch file (.bat) debugging
- Design, build, maintain and monitor ETL and FTP processes
- Assists in database design, programming, troubleshooting and management of problems affecting IT and enterprise database applications, as well as developing the area for future expansion
- Perform and track all Data Adjustment Requests while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
SSIS ETL Developer should have the following requirement:
- College degree in Computer Technology, MIS, or Computer Science; or the equivalent education or experience. Masters degree is highly desired.
- 7+ years of Database Administration experience
- 5+ years MS SQLServer (including v. 2008 R2 and 2012)
- 3+ years with T-SQL
- 4+ years with SSIS
- 3+ years with DTS
- Systems life cycle experience with analysis, design, and development knowledge
- Experience with MicroStrategy (or similar BI Client Server application)
- Expertise in VBA and T-SQL
- Expertise with Microsoft Access
- Expertise in .bat file Scripting
- AS400 or DB400/DB2 experience a plus
- Familiarity with FTP, SFTP and PGP encryption a plus
